Weldrod is sold in 165 linear foot coils and is intended for use with Altro flooring and wall cladding. Weldrods are made from extruded PVC compound and are available in a range of colors designed to blend with Altro flooring and wall cladding. Altro recommends that all flooring seams are heat welded. Heat welding prevents the build-up of dirt and bacteria in the joint while also making the floor surface impermeable to water. Routine cleaning must be undertaken in order to maintain hygiene.
